The Alps are a major European mountain range which contains some of the continent's tallest peaks. The Alps are located in France, Switzerland, Italy, Monaco, Slovenia, Austria, Lichtenstein and Germany. The Alpine region in each country has it's own strong identity and culture, such as farming, cheese making and woodwork.
