Most earthquakes and volcanoes occur because of the movement of the plates especially as plates interact at their edges of boundaries at diverging plate boundaries earthquakes occurbas the plates pull away from each other

there are volcanoes and earthquakes in a region due to the different types of plate movement. for example we have destructive and constructive plate movement.

the good effects on people when volcanoes erupt s that a volcanic eruption actually attracts tourists who would love to view the site where the eruption occurred generating foreign currency for the locals that could help develop their economy and help them improve other local services. another good effect is that in the mantel special minerals are made such as gems and diamonds which hold a lot of value that the locals could mine and earn money for themselves as well as their families. as there are minerals areas surrounding a volcano tend to be very rich in minerals having good soil for farming which helps farmers to produce large yields that can be for both their families and for commercial purposes.

the bad effects of volcanoes and earthquakes is that during earthquakes sewer systems tend to burst leading to waste travelling to drinking water sources contaminating them which could result in the outbreak of diseases such as typhoid and diarrhea. volcanic eruptions tend to produce volcanic bombs that destroy houses car as well as land which could result in destruction of infrastructure. earthquakes tend to displace land leading to landslides leading to flooding of rivers. earthquakes and volcanoes tend to cause deaths. houses become destroyed leading to people remaining homeless and out in the open  risking their lives. habitats are often destroyed leading to some animals dying which could possibly lead to their extinction. economy collapse as businesses are destroyed leading to workers becoming unemployed. casualties may be there as volcanoes and earthquakes could cause accidents. the pyroclastic clouds that result from a volcanic eruption tend to destroy crops that could lead to less yields harvested leading to hunger. earthquakes tend to destroy communication lines making it hard for the people to communicate. destruction of infrastructure and roads leads to government having to pay large amounts to repair the destroyed infrastructures.
