high Earth orbit- (HEO) A high Earth orbit is a geocentric orbit with an altitude entirely above that of a geosynchronous orbit (35,786 kilometers (22,236 mi))

medium Earth orbit- (MEO) A medium earth orbit (MEO) satellite orbits the earth at an altitude above that of a low earth orbit satellite and below that of a geostationary earth orbit (GEO) satellite. MEO orbit twice a day..

low Earth orbit- (LEO) This is an Earth-centred orbit with an altitude of 2,000 km (1,200 mi) or less. However, an object in orbit is, by definition, in free fall, since there is no force holding it up.
