HEL PLEASE WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST PLUS 30 POINTS \Alexander Calder
You might not recognize the name Alexander Calder. But he is famous for something that you would have seen, or maybe even made. Calder is known as the artist who "invented" the mobile. A mobile is a moving piece at art. It hangs from the ceiling or a frame, and it moves with the air currents. A motor can also move it.

Calder grew up in a family of artists, but he wasn't very interested in art. His childhood was full of sports and school. He enjoyed making things. In 1919, he earned a degree in mechanical engineering. Three years later he took drawing lessons and began doing artwork for a magazine. In 1926, he went to Paris, France.

In Paris he worked on sculptures. For fun, he created small toy animals of wood and wire. This later became a tiny circus. He also created very large wire figures. One is a woman's figure, called "Spring"; it is seven feet tall. Calder met many other artists in Europe, but he did much of his work alone. His first major mobile was shown at the Paris World's Fair in 1937. From there, his work became larger. Many museums bought his art; sometimes the mobile or sculpture would need a whole room. Calder traveled and worked all over the world. And the little circus? It's now in the Whitney Museum in New York.

During metamorphic processes, increased pressure and temperature can affect the of minerals in rock. rocks subjected to very high pressure are typically than others because mineral grains are squeezed together, and the atoms are more closely packed. during metamorphic processes, water facilitates the transfer of ions between and within minerals, which can the rate at which metamorphic reactions take place. the growth of new minerals within a rock during metamorphism has been estimated to be about per million years. metamorphism is commonly associated with convergent plate boundaries, where two plates move toward each other. during contact metamorphism, a large intrusion will contain thermal energy and will cool much more slowly than a small one. metamorphosed sandstone is known as the metamorphic rock made from metamorphosed shale, was once used to make blackboards for classrooms
