Primary Landforms Created by plate tectonics: a theory that says that Earth’s surface is broken up into plates that are constantly moving When plates pull apart Rifts can form (gaps in Earth’s surface)

Primary landforms are mountains and plains, they are formed due to the movement of inner plates, tectonic plates. For eg, when they collide it results in the formation of new landforms such as mountains and plains. Plains are also formed by deposition of flowing material, for eg, when a river flows it carry various minerals which leads to formation of fertile plains.
