The Indian subcontinent nearly has 2 billion people, with its actual population around 1.7 billion. The Indian subcontinent has the largest population in the world, yet it is dwarfed by Northern Asia. The governments have to care for either over a billion people, or millions of people. Due to years of colonialism, the Indian subcontinent is also poor, forcing many people to go without basic human rights such as clean water. Due to India's large population, they have millions of workers, but many are under skilled. India also has many of it's natural clean water sources draining, with many of them being contaminated or slowly being used up by the large population.
