3. Housing is essential for families to grow and expand, so the better the housing conditions, the better people can live and the lesser they are prone to illnesses and the lower the death rates. Unemployment can cut off a percentage of people's incomes, which means that some people might no longer be able to afford water and necessities. Over-crowding and poor maintenance of facilities can slow down the progress of the country and affect the people's quality of life.
