Difference between hazard and disaster are:

The hazard is defined as probability of causing risk to the human life and environment. whereas the disaster is a sudden event that has very unfortunate consequences on human life and environment. Hazard only threaten but don't take life or cause damage but disaster causes death and cause harm too.Hazard is not havoc in nature but disaster is havoc in nature.
