To what extent do you believe that glaciers have the ability to move

Alpine glaciers create or deepen valleys and Ice sheets form broad domes and spread out in different directions originating from their centers.

Explanation:

The snow when they fall in a greater amount in a place and become frozen over many years results in the formation of Glaciers.  When the fallen snow stays in a certain same location for many years it will be transformed into ice mass resulting in glacier. They have the ability to move like a slow river.Due to sheer mass, glaciers flow like very slow rivers.

Alpine glaciers are those that moves in  downward direction and passes through valleys. They also have the ability of creating a valley by pushing soil or dirt that are present in their way while they are moving. The glacier type which is an ice sheet has the ability of forming bigger domes and they will be spreading in different directions from their center point.
