How would the would the animals be catching a duck when it's not in the tar yet?The correct answer is B, because it would make sense if the animals tried to catch the duck last, after the duck confused the tar for the pond and it fell in.

Also, the event happened at the end at the story, not A or C.

Using this information, we can figure out the answer to the question.

C is not the answer, because it is most likely an extinct volcano. There has been no human recording of Volcano C erupting. B looks promising, but it is a trick answer. Volcano B had not been having any activity since the 1800s, which is WAY FAR from the last 50 years.A would be our best bet in this situation.

2020 - 1966 = 54 ≈ 50

It has been 54 years since Volcano A had any activity, but it is close enough to be dormant.
