The differences in religion in nigeria have resulted in

I don't know what  your options were, but the religious differences (Muslim North, Christian South) are resulting in a big conflict between the two communities.  Some things that happen are:
-terrorist acts (including by Boko Harem, an Islamic group)
-sectarian violence (between the communities)
