Why is the uae very concerned about studying water resources in the country

Mostly because they consume most the water in the world. The average consumption of water in the world is roughly 200 liters a day, whereas UAE consumes 550 liters a day. Considering they have scarce resources, they consume a lot of their water. They are studying how they can save and use it when they won’t lose a lot of it within the next few years. The study continues to say how they plan to conserve the water without depleting the water supply within the next few decades. I hope this helped
