25 POINTS! Goal:- The goal is for you to successfully apply french vocabulary pertaining to introductions, greetings, and numbers within the context of two real-life situations. You must demonstrate knowledge of the differences in the singular/plural, formal/informal introduction and greeting. Role: - You are introducing someone to 1) a friend, and 2) two teachers. Those persons will respond with an appropriate greeting and some personal information will be exchanged. Audience: -The target audience is 1) your best friend, 2) two teachers. Situation:- The context of your task is: Your neighbors are the host family to a foreign exchange student who has just arrived. You go with him/her on the first day of school. When you arrive there, you introduce him/her to: 1) your best friend, 2) two teachers. Your best friend and your teachers will make the appropriate greetings and the exchange student will appropriately respond. Performance Task:- You will create two short dialogues. One will be the greetings and introduction of the exchange student to your best friend in which they will exchange phone numbers. The second dialogue will be the greetings and introduction of the exchange student to two teachers, who will ask the student his/her nationality. Pay attention to the singular and plural, informal/formal aspects of the situations. Create your assignment here or attach as a Word document. Standards for success:- Your dialogues will use the designated vocabulary and language structure to accurately portray the real-life scenarios described within your task. You will be evaluated on the correctness of your vocabulary and accuracy of expression.
