It can be used to persuade the reader to adopt a certain point of view, or it can be used to persuade the reader to take some kind of action. In order to appeal to logic, the paragraph should contain strong details, facts, criteria of valid inference, evidence that support your claim like dates and numbers, or any other type of information that is justifiable by reason that persuades the readers on something. For example, if you were to write a paragraph to convince people on how serious the consequences of pollution are, by appealing to logic, you have to use data and stats like the number of animal species and humans that die a year or that have developed an illness due to pollution, the level of contamination in the air and in the soil and the approximate surface of the planet that is contaminated.
