When adjectives have equal (co-) status in describing a noun they are called adjectives.

Coordinate adjectives are those that appear in sequence and that have equal co-status in describing a particular noun. These are often separated by commas or by the word "and." Neither one of these adjectives takes precedence over the other one. Instead, they both equally modify the noun. For example, in the phrase "a bright, sunny day," both "bright" and "sunny" modify the noun "day."
