A certain time my life when I felt like I just didn't belong was when I started attending a new school. I felt left out because I didn't know anyone at my new school, but everyone else around had friends; moreover, being around new people made me feel quite nervous. I somehow calmed myself by slowly counting down from ten whenever I felt nervous. Finally, at lunchtime, I gathered the courage to go and sit with a group of nice kids. Before I knew it, a conversation started, and I had friends all around me!
