Hannah drummed her fingers against the desk as she watched the ticking clock. she was eagerly waiting for the last five minutes to pass by. once those five minutes were gone, hannah would be on summer vacation. she would no longer have to complete homework or worry about reading a book for english class. she, hannah mcgee, would be on a break.
hannah began to daydream about all the things she would do. she would relax at the beach without a care in the world and build sandcastles with her little sister. she would also play in the water and let the waves splash up onto her face.
bam! the classroom door slammed behind. hannah broke out of her daydream and looked around. she was the only one in the classroom.
