Can my introduction be longer than a body

I wouldn't recommend it. The introduction states your theory, whereas the body of your paper/report is used to support your thesis.

Paragraph 1: Introduction [Maximum 5 sentences about]
-Open with a quote or something 
-State your opinion "important discoveries are/are not the result of focusing on one subject" (IMHO, important discoveries happen accidentally) 
-Give a brief intro to the next 3 paragraphs (ex. important discoveries by <person 1>, <person 2>, and <person 3> were all made because each focused their entire life in one area. The following will explain each scientists discovery and how it happened). You don't have to use people, that's just an example 
 
Paragraphs 2-4: Body 
-These should focus on the support for or against that important discoveries are the result of focusing on one subject. Each paragraph should expand on 1 reason. Focus maybe on 3 people, or 3 important discoveries. 
 
Paragraph 5: Conclusion [2–3 sentences]
-Just wrap up everything you have already said
