Roger William's views.

Explanation:

Roger Williams was an English theologian who was born in 1603. He was a notable advocate of religious tolerance and church-state separation and a defender of the Native Americans of the United States.

Roger wanted a complete separation between the church and the state. However, Puritans, in Massachusetts rejected. They also were against the idea of that the state could punish people for their beliefs. So as a consequence, Puritans found Roger a danger to society.

As a conclusion, I can say that Roger William's views were similar to the Puritans in some way but different in some aspects.
