Both the poets use a couple of rhyming schemes and structures and use figurative language to express the subject that will be rewarded in heaven for the good deeds of human beings. The poet Bradstreet has the main topic of love and marriage and on the other hand, Wheatley’s poet has the min topic of King George III. Bradstreet uses more nature imagery than Wheatley, which connects to the poem’s topic.
