Writing a speech to be delivered to an audience is different from writing an essay for an audience of readers because delivering a speech yourself brings out the true emotion and meaning you yourself wanted to bring out when you wrote it, you are presenting your own piece in the manner you want it to be heard. Writing an essay for an audience of readers is giving hope that the readers will be able too read, understand, and see the meaning or underlying messages the essay contains. You are not there too correctly portray the speech and or essay yourself.
