Why Is Jesus The Only Way to God?

Dear Jacob
As Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6) Therefore, no one else can represent God other than Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God.
Titus 3:4-7 states, "but when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life." Jesus connects us to God, but we do not have to accept him. Through baptism, Jesus takes us.
When someone gets baptized, they become a Christian. Because we are all sinners and cannot pay for our sins on our own, we need Jesus. There is no way to redeem ourselves, so we need a redeemer. Christ saves us by what he does for us.
