Say, you and your best friend always went to this diner in town to eat lunch because it was nice and cheap. Plus, the owners liked you. Once you or your friend moves on from what was, that diner will live on in your mind because of the memories attached to it. The diner itself might be plain and boring, but to someone who's been there millions of times, it's a place where stories and memories were born.
