If you know the Hate U Give book this is the perfect question for you!! Monday Meditation

Starr’s favorite TV show is The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which stars Will Smith and tells the story of a black teenager who is sent from his West Philadelphia neighborhood to live with his wealthy aunt and uncle in their mansion in Bel Air after he gets in a fight.
Just as Will was sent to Bel Air because of trouble in his neighborhood, Starr was sent to Williamson Prep after Natasha’s death.
Will still retains his own personality, while Starr feels the need to hide hers. In your opinion, what do you do as a student to stand out or be unique? And if you don’t do anything what would you do if you could?
In what ways could standing out be dangerous? What are Starr’s fears about standing out? Use specific examples from the text.
