My first day of high school was difficult. 90 minute classes were painful, not what I as expecting. You see, they didn't give any breaks in between! No sane person could focus for that long. On top of that, I was alone because my bestfriend left me over the summer. I was extremely scared, anxious, and stressed out. During second period, I asked the only person who didn't hate me if I could hangout with her and her friend group during lunch. She agreed. That's when I saw my ex. Turns out, he was part of the group! I thought to myself it was okay, I could calmly fit in. But the people in the group just stared at me when I was introduced, and ignored me the rest of the time. Things were just getting worse as the day continued. It was unbelievably harsh for me on that day.
