Write a 3 minute speech about urban legend

there is a local monument in Iowa named the ¨Black Angel¨ this statue was built in 1913 by the artist Mario Korbel. It was used as a memorial for Edward Dolezal. The story of the eerie ¨Black Angel¨ dates all the way back to the late 19th century. This is when tourist Teresa Feldevert traveled to Iowa City. She was married at the time and had a son named ,Edward Dolezal  who later  died in Iowa City in 1891. She had requested for an angel statue to be looking down upon her sons grave. it is still to this day in the local  Iowa City cemetery. Many students and surrounding residents of Iowa City visit the statue. The biggest night of attraction is Halloween where students and residents gather around the statue, some test their luck by touching or kissing the statue. It is said that if one touches or kisses the statue they will be struck dead unless that person is a virgin. It is also rumored that if a pregnant woman walks beneath the statue’s stretched wings that she will miscarry.

An example of an urban legend includes Mythology. My example of Mythology is about the Greek Gods. Zeus, the ruler of the universe,  is one of the most important characters. Hades, the oldest, is the ruler of the UnderWorld, where all the mortals go to when they die. I find this interesting because why is Hades the oldest child, not the ruler of the universe?

I read a book about it, and it was Hades' point of view. So apparently, the Gods played cards to see who would win, and Zeus cheated, but no one could do anything about it.  Hades didn't even want to rule, so everyone was content about it. I still find it unfair that Zeus is the ruler of the universe instead of Hades.  Shouldn't the oldest get the privileges? Also, Hades couldn't do anything because he swore on River Styx that he would protect his brothers from harm.

The story of Hades and Persephone was also wrong. P-phone wanted to run away to Hades, but Hades didn't know that. She sat on the end of his carriage without his knowledge and ended up in the Underworld. Hades never stole Persephone away. That's just some Myth-O-maniacs, just like Hades said. You should read those books.
