a. Find the subordinating conjunction. Highlighlight that with a bright color.
b. After the subordinating conjunction, the rest of the sentence is the dependent clause. Highlight from after the subordinating conjunction, to the end, with grey.
c. The remainder of the sentence, that is not highlighted is the independent clause. Bold the subject and underline the main verb in the independent clause.
