Rephrase this paragraph In the poem Welcome to America, the poet is a Syrian refugee who has been suffering in the face of injustice by being stereotyped as a terrorist who celebrates the death of children. She has been severely judged by the way she looks and she feels uncomfortable by the way people look or stare at her is like looking at an alien. She has been called names and assaulted verbally and emotionally just because of her background of being a Muslim immigrant from the Middle East. Similarly, in I Have a Dream, King points out how African Americans are being judged by the color of their skin instead of their character. They are coming from jail cells, suffering from police brutality, living in slums and small ghettos with the hopes and dreams that things will change, and they will be able to rise to their majestic heights.
