3. Monsieur le maire has chosen to accept his past and reveal that he is Jean Valjean/Prisoner 24601 years after going under a new identity. Do you believe that he should be accepted for who he is now (the mayor), or do you think he should be punished for lying, breaking his parole, and trying to live a different life than the one he was sentenced to live?
