When taking notes, remember the following points:  Do not try to write down everything that the lecturer says. Focus only on the main points and important details
 Do not try to take notes in complete sentences. Use words and phrases.
 As much as possible, use abbreviations (shortened forms of words) and symbols instead of writing words in full. Look at the questions for one minute before you listen.
