This project begins taking you through the writing process. You will write a first draft of a paragraph here and then will go through a revision process guided by lessons following this project. Make sure that you pay careful attention to instructions. In the second project you will copy and paste the paragraph from this project and then make needed changes on the new copy. the tale of “aunty misery” written by judith ortiz cofer , is a folk tale about an old woman who earns immortality by tricking death . the cost of immortality however, is that her life will stay the same. from this tale it becomes clear that death is a necessary evil and is inevitable in life.

answer: a. death may not seem friendly, but he should be treated kindly.

a foil character shows contrast with the qualities of another character. to emphasize the traits of the other character is the main objective. cassius is a foil to brutus, and brutus is a foil to antony. both cassius and antony conspire to kill caesar, but cassius is more prone to treachery than brutus is. thus, easily gives in to his evil ambition. brutus is a foil to antony because brutus’s honesty and simplicity are in clear contrast to antony’s qualities of deception and over-ambition.
