Dear Rising 7th Grade Students and Parents:

Although the summer is upon us, we all know how important it is that the skills you

have learned through 6th grade are maintained. For this reason, the attached math

packet has been developed. The skills covered in these pages represent what are

the most important concepts that need to be mastered before entering 7th grade

math. The hope is that you will spread these exercises out over the summer.

This completed packet will be turned in to your 7th grade math teacher in the first

week of school in September. I appreciate your support in helping to maintain skills

and to bridge the gap between Grade 6 Math and Grade 7 Math. I am confident that

proper preparation will start you off on a successful school year.
