Preface A preface is an introduction to your book that is written in 1st person and is
about your experiences and thoughts in the writing of your work.
Here's some ideas as to what to include:
-write about what was going on in the world when you wrote these poems
-write about how this impacted you and your poetry
-write about how you felt and wanted to express in writing these poems.
-you may include something about who you dedicate this book to, or thank and/or
who this book is "for”
-you may include a quote that sets the tone for your book
