find three poems that stood out to you and write a short reflection on the poem/poet. Why did you select it? What was particular about the poems delivery? And what was the poem about. If you are looking for inspiration here are a couple of my favorites.

- a.) the man dies after he is unable to keep a fire lit.

- "despite the fact that portia lives in belmont and has many suitors, bassanio believes that he can win her heart. bassanio plans on overcoming his financial obstacles by borrowing money from antonio to travel to belmont. he then plans on marrying portia and becoming wealthy enough to pay off his debts."

b. the poet identifies with private people.

    in the stanza, dickinson states she doesn't wish to seek fame and recognition from the public eye. nor is she afraid of authority figures, and you can definitely tell she isn't hiding something. more as she identifies with private people, who are not known by the community
