BRAINLIEST PLEASSE HELP ENGLISH

Imagery is language that includes images—words and phrases that appeal to one or more of the five senses. Vivid images create strong impressions in a reader’s mind. Talented writers use imagery to develop a distinctive mood—the overall perception or feeling that a text provides. Moods can be described as casual, edgy, hopeful, and many other things. Writers use figurative, or non-literal, language and consider the connotations, or emotional associations, of words to create images and a mood in much the same way a painter selects various tints of paint from a palette of colors.

DIRECTIONS: Identify the images, vivid words and phrases, and mood for each passage.
