Please choose a song/single and identify three (3) poetic techniques/devices at work in those lyrics.  Your job is to analyze how the poetic techniques/devices add to the meaning of the music.  In other words, how does the form contribute to the content?  For example, how does the structure, rhythm, rhyme, alliteration/assonance, repetition, allusion(s), metaphor(s), and symbolism reinforce the theme or themes? This is a presentation project (approximately 10-15 minute per presentation).  There is no written requirement.

You will:

1) Provide a copy of the lyrics to the class;
2) Play your song/single for the class;
3) Explain the relation of form to content as described above
