Pride and Prejudice question: Elizabeth has two sets of aunts/uncles on her mother's side: the Phillips live close by in the town of Meryton, where the soldiers were originally stationed. The Gardiners live in London close to "Cheapside", an up and coming merchant area. Even though her uncle is an an attorney, is quite sensible, and appears to own a substantial business in London, he is not part of the nobility and upper class society. Elizabeth's aunt Mrs. Gardiner has fond memories of growing up in the country near Darcy's grand estate Pemberly.

To When Elizabeth visits Pemberly, Mr. Darcy's vast estate, she believes he is gone. How does he react when he unexpectedly meets her there with her aunt and uncle, the Gardiners?
