PLEASE HELP ASAP!!! On page 4, it states, “The ship passed over Nuremberg, where fringe politician Adolf Hitler, whose Nazi Party has been trounced in the 1928 elections… Then it flew east of Frankfurt, where a Jewish woman named Edith Frank was caring for her newborn, a girl named Anne.” What was the author’s purpose when making these allusions?

example: "before the food gets cold"

basic principle: a pronoun usually refers to something earlier in the text (its antecedent) and must agree in number — singular/plural — with the thing to which it refers. the indefinite pronouns anyone, anybody, everyone, everybody, someone, somebody, no one, and nobody are always singular.
