The Coconut Palm Tree is called "Tree of Life" for its versatility and numerous uses. The different parts of the tree can be used to provide for the
human life. The coconut meat can be ground and mixed with water to make
coconut milk which is used in cooking. Other than the coconut kernels and the
drink that we can get from green nuts, the harvested coconut also produces
copra from which coconut oil is extracted. The coco coir from the dry husk is
used in producing ropes, mats, baskets, brushes, and brooms.
