What are the key safety considerations when having pets in a child care environment

Make sure the pet likes children

Mostly these:

1. Make sure the animal is very tame and will not harm the child in any way.

2. Make sure the child does not hurt the pet (lol)

3. Make sure the pet's food/toys/medications or anything else out of reach of the child.

4. Overall, just keep the pet and child away from one another.
