Learning how to read is important, because it sets us apart form illiterate people. when we are in the process of oral reading, we provide thoughts from a written page. so we make an instant recognition of what is on the page, but not only that, we also have the ability to stress out parts that are important to us, with our pronunciation. so if we are in a business, leading a meeting, we stress out, or point out, things for the other members of the board. so we are giving the proper attention to different parts of the page. some would maybe not find it as important before we point it out.

oral reading is very common these days with all the different technologies. there are a lot of jobs that require oral reading. when a person has the ability to take words off of a page and bring them to life in a way that is easy for other to understand and follow, it sets them apart from everyone else and earns them the respect from others in the workplace.
