all these abilities make dogs wonderful pets. they are loyal companions, protectors, and . they are very affectionate and kind. although they cannot speak like humans, the lack of speech is not a barrier for them to communicate their wishes. they communicate through whines, groans, yelps, barks, howls, and whimpers. they also use their tail, limbs, and facial expressions to communicate.

these intelligent animals can also work as assistants. if trained well, dogs can the blind, deaf, and differently abled to become more independent. because of their acute sense of smell, some dog breeds can be trained to law-enforcement officers. dogs can detect explosives and drugs. they can also find people in search-and-rescue operations.
