My thoughts keep racing to home. this internship has been an amazing opportunity. i’ve met members of the house of representatives, arranged meetings between senators, and drafted portions of my senator’s floor speeches. i can’t wait to get home, but i’ll miss the excitement of washington, dc. when school starts back up next month, i’ll report to my adviser on the work i’ve done here. i hope she’ll find it as interesting as i did.
