1)  Early in the novel, Elizabeth bases her ideas about Darcy and Wickham on her prejustice. I think that this characteristic is the most appropriate in that case as Elizabeth formed her attitide toward Darcy from second hand information. The main point of the story is that two people set expectations and form opinions about one another, but they has never talked to each other.

2) Mr. Collins believes he should get married because he think that marriage is an honorable endeavor. Since he wants to establish cofident positions in society and to be a role model for the parish he must be married as it will be proper and representative.

3) While Elizabeth hopes for love and respect in her marriage, Charlotte is most interested in her own security. Sentimentality does not bother her at all and only things that she interested in are material benefits for herself and nothing else. She want to protect herself from doubts and live a long life in wealth.

4) Elizabeth is unwilling to marry Mr. Collins because she has no respect for Mr.Collins. In her opinion, his behaviour does not deserve even a look at this person as he acts like a swine being in society. She considered him disgusting and has no will to be his wife.

5) Austen's focus on Miss Bingley's attention is an example of metaphor. She gives a description of a character by representing his traits and values, comparing his actions to his nature. This description is a hidden reference which helps reader reveal character as he is.
