Because if they do, people won't get to do what they want to be free.
Not to spy on people or annoy people, but to just send notes somehow, or have races. If they do, lots of people will get angry  because the government will just stop probably everyone. Especially with a new president, who knows what he might do. So that's why I don't think they should
