In comparison to Brutus's speech Antony's speech was much more emotional and touching although Brutus's speech was very blunt but true.  Antony persuaded the crowd by using  every emotional way possible.  He also used the past to help by saying all the conquests Julius Caesar completed and how much they loved him.

Antony used Julius Caesar's bloody cloak to put more emotion into his speech.  Brutus wanted a peaceful end although Antony wanted revenge and spoke with tears and a trembling voice.  Antony targeted the hearts of the people because if you want to control the people you should go for their hearts, for "inspiring" the heart can make mankind do anything.
