- Copy and paste your thesis statement from the beginning of your paper. REPHRASE IT so it echoes the thesis as it was in the beginning. (An echo sounds similar but do not repeat the thesis exactly.)

- THINK about the connection and ideas you brought out in your paper. Include these connections in your conclusion.

- SHOW your readers why this topic is important or relevant.

- DRAW CONCLUSIONS about the topic.

- END WITH A STATEMENT ABOUT THE GLOBAL THEME you began with at the beginning of the paper.
