Video games started to get peoples attention in the 1990's and people are still making video games today! If the game has cartoon-like charactors then it doesn't seem too realistic. Some video games are made to be violent. paragraph 4 it states "With all the advances made to technology and video games, characters are designed to be more realistic looking. this makes the experience more real, so you feel like you are actually inside the game. This makes it too easy for youths to switch from real life to fantasy." You should be playing games that are desensitized not games that have alot of violence in them.

    Secondly, there are many consequences which can include prison depending on how much the games effect you. In paragraph 6 it states "Many studies have proven that playing violent video games causes more aggression, bullying, and fighting among school-aged children. Children and teenagers that are exposed to violent media have shown numbness towards violence. They tend to imitate violence and show more aggressive behaviors. Researchers have shown a connection between school fight and avid violent video game players."

in paragraph 8 it states " Children who play violent video games extensively are more likely to have increased aggressive thoughts, feeling, and behaviors. It also causes them to have decreased prosocial feelings and empathy." This can lead to bullying which is because of the violence.
