Instructions: Find at least five sources for your research paper. Make a source card for each. Include an annotation for each can
find a variety of source types--books, periodicals, essays, pamphlets. Remember to use the correct MLA format. Also, remember to list the call number and to write an annotation on each card.
1. Find two books in the library pertinent to the subject of your research paper.
2. Look in the Readers' Guide to Periodical Literature and find one magazine article that pertains to your
subject
3. Find a pamphlet that pertains to the subject of your research paper; if one is not available, select one a
different subject.
4. Find an essay that pertains to your subject.
5. Make a proper source card for each of the books, the magazine, the pamphlet, and the essay.
6. Number each card (e. g. card 1, card 2...).
