A man was traveling with his son and donkey. They met a stranger who said, "You should seat the boy on the donkey." The boy followed his advice. Later, they met a woman. "Boy, let your old father ride!"
cried the woman. So the boy let his father ride the donkey. As they went on they met a traveler who
cried, "How cruel of them! They might hurt the donkey!" Hearing this, the father and the son tried to
carry the donkey on their shoulders, but the donkey broke free and galloped away. The father and son
realized that it is impossible to follow everyone's advice.
